29 and Fine!

29 and Fine!

Turning 29 was easier than I thought. I remember being 25 and thinking, this is it. I'm done. I'm old and what have I done with my life?! Looking towards 30 back then was terrifying. And now that i'm but 12 mths away from it, it feels GREAT! I'm happy and blessed to have so much love, energy and good friends and family around me.

Birthday recap: We had an early breakfast at the best little bakery in town, Bakery Lorraine, located at The Pearl. I had the yogurt parfait and Giray decided to order a Roast Beef Sandwich, lol. After breakfast we walked around the Organic Farmers Market (happens every Saturday 8am - 2pm & it's pet friendly) and enjoyed the art, music and food.

(The parfait had organic homemade greek yogurt w/organic fruit, SCRUMPTIOUS)

We really wanted to go bike riding downtown but it was over 90 degrees! So we decided to go home & catch up on OITNB (season 3 is now available on Netflix, YAY!). Later that evening we met up with friends and family to have awesome pizza, drinks and cake at Stella. If you haven't been to Stella, it's time you did! It's located at Blue Star in the King William District and has a super cool "Austin-ish" kinda vibe. Definitely different from what you normally find in San Antonio.

(Birthday outfit: Zara TRF top//Abercrombie &Fitch shorts//Free People sandals & a vintage leather clutch I found thrifting one day)

Anyway, it was such a fun day spent with good people & good food. Here's a big cheers to many many more! 29 & darn fine!
